Addiction Treatment & Recovery

People turn to substances for many reasons—often as a way to cope with overwhelming emotions or a difficult history. We will work at your pace, honoring your autonomy. Whether your goal is cutting back, managing use safely, or achieving total sobriety, your goals direct our work.

Signs it may be helpful to reevaluate your substance use:

  • Searching online: You look up queries like “Do I have an addiction?” to check your habits.
  • Failed attempts: You have tried unsuccessfully to quit or cut back.
  • Negative consequences: You have experienced trouble at work, school, or in your health because of substances.
  • Loved ones worry: People you love and trust have expressed concern about your substance use.
  • Personal doubt: You feel that your life might be better if you stop or use less.
Taking the first step toward change takes incredible strength. Whether you are questioning your relationship with substances, navigating recovery after formal treatment, or trying to break free from compulsive behaviors, you deserve a safe space without judgment. I provide specialized, trauma-informed therapy designed to help you understand your triggers, heal the root causes, and build a balanced, fulfilling life.
In addition to being a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) I am a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC). The first five years of my post-graduate career were spent working with adults struggling with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders at various levels of care including detox, inpatient, residential and intensive outpatient. My goal is to reduce the stigma of addiction and help my clients foster mindful, value-driven relationships with substances.
