If you grew up rarely feeling seen, chosen, special, safe, or prioritized, it profoundly impacts your sense of self and your relationships.
I am deeply passionate about working with adults living with significant attachment wounds. While there is no such thing as a perfect parent or a perfect childhood, some of us received less than what we needed to thrive.
You may find it challenging to…
Know and express yourself: Clearly identify who you are, state your needs, and allow others to see the “real” you.
Set and hold limits: Establish boundaries, say “no,” or communicate disagreements.
Trust affection: Believe that people genuinely like or love you unless you prove your worth repeatedly.
Secure lasting love: Find a safe and healthy romantic relationship.
Navigate space: Tolerate a partner needing time alone without panicking, feeling rejected, or assuming it is a reflection on you.
Navigate closeness: Tolerate a partner wanting to be close without shutting down, creating distance, or feeling smothered
Manage emotional triggers: Handle a partner’s bad mood without trying to “fix” it, or navigate their disappointment towards you without feeling ashamed or becoming defensive.
Feel confident professionally: Trust your skills and abilities.
Make independent decisions: Move forward without needing excessive input, advice, or reassurance.
Get to the root of your people-pleasing, relationship anxiety, and self-doubt so you can live authentically.
If any of this resonates, I would love to work with you.
I will help you identify and grieve what you missed out on when you were younger. We will process past trauma and gently look at the patterns you built just to survive. From there, you will practice pivoting toward intentional, value-aligned choices. You do not have to be ruled by past pain. Let’s work on helping you feel secure in your relationships, confident at work, and good enough as your authentic self.
Getting to support people in this work and witness their transformation from insecure and people-pleasing to confident and authentic has been one of the great privileges of my life and career.
